Back in 2012 Alistair opened Alistair Redhouse Estate Agents in response to a demand for a better way of selling houses. The different approach helped the agency to grow to be one of the most successful agencies in Oxfordshire. But Alistair knew there was more that can be done to improve the experience further.

As you probably know, the traditional UK real estate model has caused pain and hardship due to its departmentalised structure. Clients and agents alike suffer from communication issues, inefficiencies, and a lack of personal attention. This cookie-cutter approach disregards individuality, leading to frustration and missed opportunities for buyers and sellers.

In 2019 our agency brokerage redefines the norm by offering a 1-on-1 business model. This innovation tackles the industry's challenges head-on. Meet Our Team

Alistair has been an estate agent for since 1999: As a junior negotiator with a corporate agency he consistently won “sales agent of the month”. He moved to a local independent as their Sales Manager and gained experience of working off his own initiative. Alistair has always believed in hard work which is why he frequently sells properties other agents have failed to sell. Alistair enjoys sailing and 5 a side football in his rare spare time.

Robert joined the company following university and soon showed an aptitude for the business. He has worked his way up to Sales Director and has a dynamic and driven approach to property sales. Robert is married with three amazing children, lives locally and, when time allows, can be seen in various amature drama productions in the region (his second passion). He takes his professional development very seriously, regularly completing sales related courses.

Richard started his career in the property industry in 2011 and has valuable experience in all areas of residential lettings as well as property maintenance and sales. As head of lettings, Richard makes it his priority to ensure that both landlords and tenants are provided with the best level of service. Outside of work, Richard has a passion for motorsport and cycling.

Carole, Alistair’s mother, takes on responsibility for the back office side of things and is the contact when it comes to accounts matters. Carole has always been passionate about property and the need to offer an excellent, transparent service. Her hobbies include dog agility and amateur dramatics.

Steve has been in the property industry for over 20 years working in the Cotswolds and Wtney area. Steve is motivated, enthusiastic and keen to help clients in all aspects of property in a courteous and professional manner. In his spare time Steve can be found in the gym and enjoying time with his wife and two girls with country walks, picnics, and theatre trips.

Tara joined the company following a previous experience working within the housing market and social media marketing. Her keen interest in property allows her to set high expectations for herself and have a high work ethic. Living locally, Tara knows the area well and loves to communicate and help people on a daily basis. With over four decades of experience in the residential property sector, Duncan is a seasoned estate agent. His interest in the field began during his studies at Manchester Building College, where he trained as a Land and Property Valuer and became a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents in 1989. Demonstrating a pioneering spirit even early in his career, Duncan developed the first interactive property website in the U.K. back in 1995. That same year, he leveraged his expertise to establish his own estate agency business in the Northwest of England. Duncan's enterprise flourished over the next two decades, expanding into a multi-branch firm before being acquired by Countrywide PLC in 2015. When not at work, Duncan plays as much golf as the weather permits.

Adam has a wealth of experience in the letting sector, having worked with a number of Oxford based firms. He set up our lettings division in 2014 and since has moved away from the property management side of the business focusing on property maintenance for the firm. Adam set up in 2022 and does property maintenance work independently of Alistair Redhouse too.

Robert is the surveying arm of Alistair Redhouse Estate Agents (AREA Surveys). Having been a surveyor in the busy London market for many years, Robert recently made a move to the country to bring up his three children in a village setting.

Following a successful 30 year career in the property industry Mike joined Alistair Redhouse in 2023 to provide viewing services to our clients. Mike has held senior roles in the estate agency industry including owning his own agency, ensuring he is well placed to conduct viewings on our clients properties. He now spends his time away from work enjoying country sports in the Oxfordshire countryside.
